GAS & DISPOSAL

Every owner of a motorhome is aware of the same issue: Where can you properly dispose of waste water? And of course every liner driver wants to know whether the actual site of a disposal station is also suitable for an XXL motorhome.

To dispose of your grey and black water comfortably, we have commenced to compile all „liner-suitable“ disposal stations and listed them on one > interactive map. Your next disposal will be a piece of cake.

In winter, the gas supply for motorhome users can be challenging. For reliable operation, we recommend using pure propane or a very propane-rich blend (e.g., 90/10, ideally 95/5). The reason is vapor pressure: it ensures that enough gas forms from the liquid gas in the tank and flows to the system at sufficient pressure. Butane has significantly lower vapor pressure at around 0 °C and below—meaning the heater may no longer be supplied reliably. In blends, propane is also used up first, so butane can remain in the tank and the amount of usable gas effectively decreases. That’s why autogas with a high butane content (e.g., 60/40) is only conditionally suitable for winter camping use.

To help you refuel with high-quality gas while traveling, we have compiled a list of suitable filling stations and provided them for you in an > interactive map. This way, you can always find the right station—and winter camping becomes a pleasure!
